Glucose-Sensing Neurons?

Now this takes the cake. Pardon the pun.

Neurons in our brains may become "excited" by glucose surges, which could help trigger type 2 diabetes? Well, so speculate scientists from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard. Fascinating.
